Maureen is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified Lactation Counselor, specializing in infant and pediatric feeding therapy. Maureen holds a bachelors degree from the University of Oregon and a masters degree from California State University Northridge in Communication Disorders and Sciences where she graduated with honors. She completed graduate coursework in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and enjoys completing continuing education in the area of pediatric feeding. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is also a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine.

Maureen has focused her career on pediatric language development and feeding and has worked in various settings throughout California, Texas, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia. She is proficient in Spanish and enjoys traveling, spending time with family, learning and experiencing new cultures.

Doug is our in house billing specialist and point of contact for insurance questions and authorizations. Prior to Commonwealth Therapy Company, Doug owned and operated a Property Management and Real Estate company. Upon retirement, he found himself missing the busy work which ultimately lead him to us. When he is not behind the desk, Doug enjoys hiking, cooking and traveling to visit his granddaughter with his wife of 38 years.
